Losing a friendship can be totally gut-wrenching because it is just now something we expect to happen. Not only do we rely on them to get us through the crappy times in our life but we assume they'll always be around. After all, that's what we promise each other, right?

The toughest part is living with the fact that he's chosen not to be your friend anymore. There's the grief of losing someone you've poured your heart out, but there's also either the guilt at having done something to deserve it or the pain at being left wondering what happened.

If the reality is that he's not going to speak to you ever again, your feelings of loneliness, angst and despair are going to surface. There'll be an empty space within you where he was.

Not going to be biter or nasty. Slagging off my ex-friend to anyone who'll listen wont make me feel better and it'll only turn him again me more. I'm holding on to the good memories.
