To: All Whom I Love

Whatever that you're going through now is painfully agonising. It is so unique that no one else fully understand the depth of the suffering you personally are struggling with. Be it a loss or a separation. It's enough to tear an unmendable hole in your soul. So I may not know how difficult it is for you to deal with it, but I do know it is necessary.

As we move through this sea called life, we leave behind familiar waters that we'll never sail again. It's hard to say goodbye. Sooner or later, the things we hold dear are taken out of our hands. Sometimes gently. Sometimes harshly. But always painfully.

I won't accuse you of being morbid, of not looking at the bright side of life. I know that your pain cannot be ignored. I know you want to be in control of your life. I know you hate to deal with the loneliness, vulnerability, insecurity and unmet longings. I know that all you need is time.

However, I don't want you to become bitter as a result of unsuccessful avoidance from your suffering. I want you to have a soul that, while knowing the meaning of sadness and disappointment, is yet able to remain joyfully alive.

You greatly miss the person who is of irreplaceable value to you. But you have to accept the reality. You can cry, you can rant, you can express everything out in every possible way. It's perfectly normal. I'm sure this experience have let you reconsider what is really important in life.

I know that right now, words are inadequate to express what you need. Nevertheless, I'll still give you a shoulder to cry on, a willingness to listen, and a commitment to stay in silence. Remember, I'll walk with you along this painful path that you must take.




My sincerest gratitude to those who have kept me going despite the destitude and despair I have. We may have scattered far but I'll be keeping all of you close to my heart. God bless.
